Fourth, Fifth, Sixth Class and Ms. Roe’s class recently enjoyed a wonderful school trip to the National Concert Hall to see Peter and the Wolf & The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra performed by the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland. The performance combined beautiful live music with creative shadow puppetry, bringing the famous story of Peter and the Wolf to life in a fun and engaging way for all the children.
The pupils were fascinated by the different instruments of the orchestra and loved learning how music can tell a story. The trip was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to experience live orchestral music in such a special setting, and there was great excitement on the journey back to school as the children shared their favourite parts of the show.
