On Monday, the 31st of May, nineteen pupils from 5th, 6th and the ASD class travelled to Santry to compete against other schools in a variety of races at Morton Stadium. It was a fantastic day! We entered the relay races, the sprints, the long jump and the 600m boys race. For each relay there were four members on each team for the U12 and U14 girls and boys. Everyone ran really well!
We also entered the sprint races for both boys and girls. Congratulations to Chidimma Okwara who brought home a gold medal in the 100m sprint final and congratulations to Rebecca Odigie who brought home a bronze medal in her sprint final. Well done to Majicek in Ms. Clarke's class who brought home a medal after competing in the special race.
