Our Creative Schools Project continues to go from strength to strength, with another exciting and engaging week for our students. We were delighted to welcome back our Creative Associate, Karl, who joined Ms. Dean and the Creative Schools Committee to lead the next stage of the process.
The committee took on important speaking roles and delivered a presentation to every class in the school. They confidently introduced the project, sharing the results from previous workshops through a word cloud of ideas. Students were encouraged to choose the ideas that interested them most, with the most popular suggestions clearly visible.
Following this, all classes were organised into groups based on their chosen ideas. Each group was given time to brainstorm and develop one “big idea” for our Creative Schools Project. The level of enthusiasm, creativity, and collaboration on display was fantastic to see.
At the end of the sessions, groups shared their ideas with the committee, demonstrating great imagination and thoughtful planning. The next stage of the project will involve selecting the top three ideas, which will then move forward either to taster workshops or a whole-school vote.
We are incredibly proud of the leadership shown by the Creative Schools Committee and the active participation of all our students. We look forward to seeing how these ideas develop in the coming weeks.
