On the 18th of November, 2025, 4 pupils from Ms.Cassidy’s 6th class went to the Round Room in the Mansion House. The four pupils were Farjana, Ben, Leon and Zaki. The principal Ms O’Brien brought them there. The four students were selected to attend the Youth Council Conference with pupils from other schools around Dublin. They got to put down ideas, listen to motivational speeches, vote for next year's topic, speak with the Mayor of Dublin and students from other schools. In conclusion, the four learned a lot about the Youth Council and had the opportunity to join, but most importantly they all had lots of fun! The main takeaway from this experience was there is always something you can change for the better so keep going and it will all work out. The area chosen to focus on for the Youth Council for 2026 was ‘Child poverty’.
