Chess Tournament
Ms Cassidy and 2 students from each 5th and from each 6th left the school at 9:00am for a chess tournament. The students were Alex, Flavius, Emily, James, Kaylum, Larissa, Kyle and Sienna. We all went with a private bus which arrived at approximately at 9:05.The bus ride was about 20 minutes. We arrived at St Oliver Plunkets School. When we walked in, there were about 70 tables with 1 chess board each. We put our belongings on a bench and we went to the fixtures board. On the board we could see what table number and what colour we played. We played six games that lasted 20 minutes each. After the second and fourth game we had lunch. After game six we got a participation award and got our bags and jackets to leave. It was a fun and exciting experience. 🎉
