So far, our time in Room 13 has been filled with exciting activities, new experiences, and lots of fun learning opportunities!
Our class were lucky enough to take part in cycling lessons in the school yard. We practiced road safety, learned how to signal and tried out some obstacle courses. Everyone improved their balance and confidence. We had a fantastic time cycling together!
In science, we made our own models of the digestive system. It was so much fun seeing how food moves through the mouth, stomach, and intestines. It helped us understand how our bodies turn food into energy. Making the model really helped us to remember all the different parts.
Halloween was super exciting this year because so many of us wore homemade costumes, which were made from recycled materials. It was amazing to see everyone’s creativity, and our class had great fun showing off our unique designs.
For Black History Month, we created projects about important black leaders, artists, scientists, and activists. We researched their lives and learned about how they changed the world. We worked in pairs to create our projects and we enjoyed sharing what we discovered with the class!
