🥳School Tour - Our class enjoyed a fantastic school tour to the Sporting Arena in Blanchardstown, where we took part in a variety of fun and exciting sports activities. Afterwards, we went to the Aquatic centre!

🌸Clay - we collected flowers and leaves from the park and used them to create clay imprints. Once the clay dried, we painted it!

Dioramas - we created habitat dioramas, using a variety of materials to design and build them! We learned about the features that help living things survive in their habitats.

🎨Art - We explored the artwork of George Seurat and used Pointilism to create vibrant summer flower artwork using small dots of paint. We also created colourful fruit artwork, exploring colouring, shade and lines. Pupils were given the choice of using either paint or oil pastels.

▪️🔸Maths - We explored 3D shapes by constructing our own models and learning about their different properties.

🏫Grange - We were very fortunate to spend a day in Grange Secondary School, where we attended classes, met teachers and gained a valuable insight into secondary school life. It was a fantastic opportunity that helped us feel prepared for the future.

🛝Father Collins Park - We made the most of the beautiful weather with a visit to the park, where we had fun playing soccer and enjoyed ice lollies as a special treat!

☘️Gaeilge - We celebrated Pancake Tuesday by making delicious pancakes and writing out the recipe as Gaeilge. We practised our oral language and presentation skills by delivering weather presentations to the class.

📚World Book Day - We had a fantastic World Book Day celebration! Well done to everyone for the wonderful effort put into their costumes and for helping to make the day so enjoyable!

🍃🌳Science - We explored the changes that occur in nature during Spring and observed signs of new life in our environment. We also investigated lichen growing on trees and learned about its role in nature.
