We are thrilled to announce that twenty students of Scoil Cholmcille SNS recently participated in the St. Anne's Primary Schools Cross Country Competition, and we couldn't be more proud of their outstanding performance! Our school team, made up of both boys and girls from third to sixth class, put their heart and soul into the competition and came out with flying colours!
The competition, which was held last week in St. Anne's Park, saw teams from over 24 schools compete against each other in a challenging cross-country race. Despite the tough competition, our students demonstrated great endurance, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Over 1300 children participated, record numbers for the competition.
We are delighted to share that our school team brought home not one, not two, but four trophies from the competition. The team secured two 2nd place and two 6th place trophies in both the boys' and girls' individual races. This is a truly remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the students who participated in the competition for their incredible efforts. We are immensely proud of the students and cannot wait to see what they achieve in the future.
